Meet Copperfield!

Copperfield came from Georgia along with his three sisters. They were rescued as 5-week-old babies found in an abandoned car. They spent their time in a lovely foster home before coming north to find their furever homes! The people in the south say he is a Boxer/Border Collie mix. At ten months, he is almost full grown, but still very much a puppy. He needs exercise and love. If you have an active family, he may be the boy you are looking for. He will be loyal, sweet, and your best pal.

Although Copperfield needs FHO surgery, it does not slow him down one bit. He is a fun, spunky, cuddle bug. Copperfield seems to get overlooked because he needs hip surgery. Dog Orphans is paying for his surgery, so the adopter will not have to! Although Copperfield just LOVES other dogs, he does need to be the only one in the home so he isn’t so tempted to romp around and play until he is fully healed! His three sisters have found their furever homes, now it’s this sweet boy's turn. There is a 4-5 week recuperating period after surgery, so he needs a home where everyone is patient and able to help him until fully recovered. Please come see this young fella. No appointment is necessary and he is so worth the visit!
